Development and Alpha Testing of EzHifz Application: Al-Quran Memorization Tool

Learning to memorize the Quran presents a challenge. This paper reports development and alpha testing of mobile application called “EzHifz” for memorization based on VARK learning style. The received positive feedback user acceptance heuristic testing. Fleiss kappa coefficient (κ) results show very good level agreement (κ = 0.850). Heuristic that κ 0.731 content, manual guide, activities, performance information, tasmik assessment attributes, while 0.727 presentation design, interactivity, multimedia elements, attraction, motivation attributes. These agreement, which indicates EzHifz meets requirements design attributes evaluated. A combination memorizing techniques in helps strengthen use preferred styles. support multiple senses could facilitate process independently. study contributes novel evaluation model. supports teaching where it allows students select their style with technique Quran. approach VARK’s has potential be implemented as well retaining memory through materials developed.
